City, and men of the Silk Roads, promoted by the Ministry of Heritage and Culture, with the Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Rome and Roma Capitale, in collaboration with the Chinese Ministry of Culture and the Agency Institutional Art Exhibition China. Organization and communication: Zètema Culture Project and Electa.- From a roll of Chinese silk long over 30 meters found in Japan 2002 and dated at the beginning of the sixteenth century. dC, a pocket bible known as the Bible of Marco Polo and artifacts of different types, the exhibition tells the trades and the thirst for the unknown of these ancient caravans of the East. To give substance, image and voice, Palmyra, Tour 'Abdin, Ctesifonte, Taq-e Bostan, Merv, Samarkand, Ghazni, Swat, Nail, Turfan, Dunhuang, Xi'an the media path designed and created by Studio Azzurro. Through various interactive installations, the twelve stages of the journey will allow the viewer to interact with foreign faces, admire the refined architectural solutions of the time, walk along the banks of the Tigris, then moving on Chinese soil. The course aims to give the viewer an immersive emotional imprinting that has nothing to notionistic. The viewer will retrace the same route and then, immersing himself in that atmosphere, rediscover, then and now, places where Buddhism, Christianity and Islam coexisted and conversed together.
