The "Shaolin Charitable Foundation" was founded in February 1994 XXX and the Venerable Abbot of Shaolin Temple, Shi Yongxin, it is the president. The Foundation is activities to help the poor and support disaster relief, including:
  • benefit performances to collect donations;
  • construction of houses for thousands of orphans Shaolin Charity;
  • Regular care for underprivileged children to go to school;
  • drilling wells for villages that need water;
  • delivery of food to the poor villages of ethnic minorities;
  • supply of medical equipment for hospitals rural poor;
  • organizing teams of volunteer doctors for the province to provide assistance and care to the needy; provision of financial assistance to academic organizations;
  • contribution of funds and material aid to flooded areas and disaster.
