In Italy, WWF has created a system of protected areas can preserve representative samples of particularly rare or endangered ecosystems, areas of exceptional natural value of species and habitats in danger of extinction. L'oasi of Bosco WWF Vanzago plays an important role in this system, being classified as an "oasis of the program" as a protected area that holds high values in terms of conservation, organizational level, development opportunities and strategic role. Inserted in an environment characterized by densely populated municipalities, with the highest concentration of industrial activities of the entire hinterland of Milan and with the presence, at a radius of 3 Km from the reserve, a motorway, rail and roads, WWF Vanzago the Forest is an oasis in the desert, the tip of a wedge of fragile wilderness that connects the city of Milan with the regional park of Ticino. The oasis interacts with what he has around. It must programmatically open to teach and educate all who come near, to spread the culture of nature to become a gym for all of ecology. In it is a priority activity to raise awareness of nature conservation, the development of a rational and scientific research aimed to use natural resources and the conservation of the natural environment itself. The oasis of the WWF calls on everyone who visits and loves to be multiplied, invites all, each with their own means, to build many other areas of the natural parallel, each to be ambassador of a balanced relationship with nature.
